Looks like this was imagined by someone born about 1990. Some of it’s almost on target, but the rest is just plain ignernt.

No bellbottoms, no ’60s chinos, no 501s, no ’70s surf trunks, Rectors, Mad Rats, Mollys or SIOs, etc. Whether serious or not, thought through or not, the sad thing is that most people who look at the “history” won’t know any better anyway. Devo was right.
