You can’t start a music feature on a skate site without including the former SOTY, John Cardiel. It’s as simple as that. Luckily Mic-E Reyes from DLX was there with the assist and helped us get in touch him – and John was nice enough to take his time and send over a heavy 18 song playlist. Our buddy Shift mixed it down into one streaming mp3 so you can listen here or download it for later. If you never really listened to reggae, now is your time to give it a chance.
More Mixes? Check out Riley Hawk, Anthony Pappalardo and Jim Greco.

This is so good. There was a college station in rhode island that played dancehall and rockers at like 4pm for years, was the warmup soundtrack driving to go skate.
