The best part about working in skateboarding is that you can hit up your favorite childhood brands and ask them for the new shit as soon as it comes out. And since we all ride decks over 8″ wide, it was a no brainer to ask Deluxe to send us some pairs of the new Thunder 149 II’s. To try’em out Taylor Nawrocki from Politic and Billy Mcfeely from Passport went to midtown Manhattan in the dead of night to grind them down as much as possible.
Also check out NYC vs. Spitfire Formula Fours to watch Piro & EJ powerslide the fuck out of Manhattan.
