COLIN FISKE PUT OUT A 57 MINUTE LONG VIDEO PART

If you aren’t familiar with the name Colin Fiske, let me explain.

Back in 2002, the Boston based skateboard shop Coliseum released a local video called PJ Ladds Wonderful Horrible Life, and it exploded. It put skateboarders like Jereme Rogers, Ryan Gallant and Colin Fiske on the map and PJ Ladd’s part was so good, the entire video practically went viral (before Youtube & Facebook) based on his section alone. I remember visiting my friend in Finland in 2002 and he already had it illegally downloaded from Limewire, claiming it was the “best part ever” – that’s how much of an impact it had back then.

Most of the world outside of Massachusetts was introduced to Colin Fiske through that video, with his short part skating to Radiohead. Colin put out other parts over the years and rode for some companies but never gained the mainstream momentum like Jereme Rogers or Ryan Gallant.

Recently, Colin has resurfaced, riding for Fancy Lad Skateboards and skating as eccentric as ever. He quietly edited this behemoth of a part himself consisting of all of his skateboarding up until now, along with BMXing, longboarding, and random movie moments. It’s basically a full length skate video, with only one dude skating – which for most is probably un-watchable, but that’s kinda the point.

If you were ever wondering what happened to Colin Fiske, here’s your time to catch up and enjoy 57 minutes of absurd and epic footage.

I have to disagree portraying Colin Fiske to somewhat fall beneath the radar, I know as a British skater that whilst he was on heroin skateboards he was quite popular in the U.K. and Europe due to his appearance in Heroin’s ‘Magic Sticky Hand’ and documents 2007 Big push. I know these probably sound to you guys like a bunch random things that have no significance , and to some degree they don’t, but in Europe these sections were quitewel known

I agree he had slightly more coverage here. But really he was in one short tour video, and had a really short part in Magic Sticky Hand. Wouldn’t really say he was popular.

Anyone notice that this Tom Waits song was already used in one of Jerry Hsu’s throwaway parts?
