Hello friends! Welcome to our newest section, “Can it Skate?“, a video series dedicated to trying out the weird, funny, and overhyped footwear of the world. We’re talking high-heels, uggs, slippers, hypebeast shoes, sandals… Whatever you can wear, we will try and skate. Maybe even those dumb toe shoes that health nuts and techies love to wear.
For our second episode, we invited Tommy Chill, a super good skateboarder sponsored by the Bad Idea Skateboard Company to stop by a DSW with us and try out a new pair of sandals. The selection was slim, but Tommy managed to slip on and walk out with a pair of urban camo Nike sliders that were only slightly too small for him. No worries for Tommy though, he went to work in Soho and Chinatown by filming this entire episode in only a few hours in those 00% protection sandals. His reward: Jenkem sponsored footrubs in Chinatown and a new edit to prove just how “chill” Tommy keeps it.
