2018 was a year of rejuvenation for Corey Duffel’s career. Despite all the injuries and wear and tear on his body from years of tossing himself down some unthinkable gaps and stairs, he released two solo parts and even had some clips in Blessed.
So as the year winds down, Corey decided to pass us this playlist that he mixed together himself to round out his comeback year. This mix is for all the people who grew up loving the dyed-hair, tight pants, and bright wheels Duffman of the early 2000’s.
Stream Corey’s mix below, and if you’re into it, download it here while you can.
More Mixes? Check out: Heath Kirchart, Bill Strobeck, Blondey McCoy, Louie Lopez, Nora Vasconcellos, Alltimers, Rodrigo TX, Stefan Janoski, Franky Villani, Pass~Port, The 69 Mix, Beagle, LurkNYC, Bam Margera, Mike Arnold, Jason Sallilas, or Kevin Rodrigues.

A SERIOUS REVIEW OF MARK SUCIU’S SERIOUS “VERSO”
Verso asks that we pay it a kind of attention many of us automatically do not. Knowing this, we choose to either look more closely or let it pass before our eyes the way the rest of skating does.

Is there a track list for the songs used?

Hey there. I didn’t include a track list. I wrote one out but decided against it. I remember getting mix tapes in my youth and most of the times they had no info of the songs or artists. I always liked that about them. It kept a little mystery. Also it makes us listen to the music more with a clean palate. Made me have to do some research to find the song. I also wanted it to be listened to before being judged by reading the tracks. Ya dig?

Right with you there Corey was the same way with mix tapes as a kid. Thanks for the great playlist and skating throughout the years. Was diggin that first track a lot too and couldn’t find it searching around.

First track is Wyldlife “these days”
My friend Dave. An incredible skater and writer from New York. I’m going to post the tracks on my Instagram account later on. I didn’t choose anything obscure purposely so listeners could probably Shazam everything. This day and age people are so lazy to search for anything unless it smacks them in the face. They probably still miss it though.
