Whether or not you’ve always followed Corey Duffel’s career, his skating was never something you could look away from.
We got together with our friend Joey Sinko to make this short film taking a second look at the slams, stories, and glory left by the Duffman.
Much more than a “best of” but not quite a Hulu documentary, this Jenkem Ode is a deeply personal dive into Corey’s life. Revisit the huge gaps and rails that made Corey’s career and broke many of his bones, and hear the behind the scenes tales of his incredible makes and gut-wrenching slams.
After months of scouring video parts, uncovering old footage, and interviewing Corey in a police interrogation-style room, Joey emerged with “Manimal.” It may sound like the title of either a sick ’80s TV show or downright bestiality, but it’s instead a powerful meditation of skating’s number one punk.
If your teenage hormones resurface at the thought of the Duffman, or you’re unaware of the recklessness he puts himself through, “Manimal” will be a wild ride.

Corey if you so believe in your heart that saying the “N” word hard “R” and directing it toward an pro skater and the whole demographic of philly streets kids, shall be treated as just a misstate. Then you sir are misinformed of your own ignorance, your YT ancestry/ lineage is truly unappealing and you are part of the problem in today’s western society. You as a YT male need to step up for all communities, come on dude you’re supposed to represent P.M.A, so what the heck are you doing? Love everybody no matter what man, your in a position every kid dreams of across the entire world. Realise now that you’re older it’s time to take responsibility for the past and own that shit. Cause how would it look if every murder just said that 15 years ago; you’re really going to judge me off that, come one ain’t you got better shit to do?”(I.e, Corey Kennedy) R.I.P P. Stone. we’d all flip the fuck out if Corey said some shit like that, so why the heck should you get a pass, just own your shit is all I saying, i’m Out. Also I’m black and I use to support you but truly finding it hard to forgive your cruel words from “back in the day.” Pce.

Ignorant Language and killing someone is now in the same realm? I’ve had to live with what I said for nearly nineteen years. How more do I own it? It’s hsunted me daily and causes me pain. Read the interview from a dumb fifteen year old kid. Watch the video of a 34 year old dude and get to know me through talking to me and hearing from people who know me. Maybe you will see things differently. It’s quite rude to compare a quote with no malice intended to the death of a human being.
