A lot of Cali skateboarders who move to New York never fully assimilate. Either they party too hard and let their 300 sq foot apartments become piles of empty tall boys and unwashed clothes, or they retreat to California every winter and try again the next year. Leo isn’t one of those.
Their ultra-tidy bedroom is the pinnacle of New York productivity (or maybe OCD, but what’s the difference?), their look is so solidified that they could be mistaken for a Brooklyn artist / creative director. And if you combine those things with their street clips, you basically end up with this mix.
Grungy guitars, falsettos vocals, and moody lyrics. And if you dig it, download it here while you can.
More Mixes? Check out: Heath Kirchart, Bill Strobeck, Blondey McCoy, Louie Lopez, Nora Vasconcellos, Alltimers, Rodrigo TX, Stefan Janoski, Franky Villani, Pass~Port, The 69 Mix, Beagle, LurkNYC, Bam Margera, Mike Arnold, Jason Sallilas, or Kevin Rodrigues.
