If you’re like us you’re probably sick of the same old interview-style podcasts and shows where a skater sits down and fields a bunch of softball questions about their career and the sunglasses or sock company they just launched.
They lack spontaneity and unless the skater is genuinely interesting, the interview falls flat on its face. Skating has long been missing a comedy show, something that tries to pay homage to SNL or early Howard Stern.
Well, look no further because we’re proud to bring you the first episode of “The Sit Down,” a show hosted and produced by Jason Sherman and Tommy Nisenson, or as you may know them, the duo formerly behind @sponsormeplease (now @sitdownentertainment).
For episode 1, Jason and your favorite wannabe wiseguy from Jersey, Uncle Tommy, invited Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem into the studio.
The two brothers are the founders and artists behind Carpet Co – a boutique board brand out of Baltimore, Maryland. The guys talk all bout running a small company while working a full-time job, timing their skating with their prayer time, and a bunch of other good stuff.
Hope you enjoy and feel free to give some real feedback here. Obviously this is episode 1 and we’re open to hearing it all so we can make this thing pop for future episodes.
