With so many people fleeing New York we were curious to see if we could get away with skating some spots that are usually an instant bust.
Manhattan is usually swarmed with tourists this time of year which means security would normally be at its peak, but our hope was that due to the coronavirus, things would be a little different.
Christian Henry from REAL was visiting and had been trying to get a trick at a spot made famous by Jake Johnson and others over the years but had already been kicked out twice before.
With his time in the city running out, we tagged along as he went to get the clip and end his trip on a high note. To our surprise, security was still there doing their job the same as ever, and a handful of brave tourists were still going about their business in Times Square taking selfies and getting in the way.
