The last thing skateboarding needs is another podcast hosted by old heads who interview their buddies. Eventually, all of the stories and episodes start to sound the same.
That’s why we decided to create something different that focuses on the future voices of skateboarding. After spending too much time trying to settle on a name, we’d like to introduce, “Okay, Last Try” hosted by Noah team rider, Elise Hedge, and myself, Larry Lanza.
Now that I’m 25, I’m slipping into an age that I used to consider to be “old.” So to avoid all of the devastating pitfalls of becoming a jaded bitter skater, I wanted to reach out to my younger peers and at least attempt to stay connected.
For the first episode of “Okay, Last Try,” Elise and I sat down with Baltimore native, and New York resident, Quinn Batley. You may know Quinn from The Homies Network videos or Noah’s latest video Jolie Rouge. He also skates for our friends over at Carpet Co. You can see more of Quinn’s photography on the Camera Club website here.
You can also listen to this episode on Spotify, Soundcloud, or Apple Podcasts. Give it a listen and let us know if we should cancel it or not. – Larry

Nobody cares what inspires you or “what you want to get out of skateboarding.” Fuck off.

Taking cheap swings at the nine club. Talk to me when you’re 100s of episodes deep.
SMH y’all will probably throw in the towel after less than 10 episodes. Bet.
Also, having credible skaters hosting the podcast would help. Never heard of these people.

It’s cool that so many of these comments are an example of the problem that podcast is attempting to address.
