Shawn’s been laying low for what feels like a minute now, but that doesn’t mean he’s been inactive. Like a super villain waiting in the shadows, skateboarding’s favorite Polo wearing antagonist resurfaces with this low-key part. In between working on his brand, art, and filming for another Palace project, Shawn found the time to get out with filmer Noah Letcavage in the dead of winter to put together some tricks that show Shawn’s unique approach to skating in NYC.
SP delivers everything he’s become notorious for: skating against traffic, high speed fakie tricks and 90’s vibes. He’s the master of finding the non-spot spots and scrounging together a clip with the most inane objects and obstacles on the streets.
Consider this an appetizer for what’s still to come, and make sure to peep Shawn’s other parts in the Palace and Bronze videos, and his brand Saints & Sinners while you’re at it.
