Marco Hernandez isn’t a big time pro skater, but he’s been featured on Jenkem a handful of times over the years, via a Neighborhoods episode in Staten Island, an IG feature where he tells the story of shooting a Thrasher cover with T Funk, and a few other places here and there. Aside from being a close friend of ours, he’s a talented photographer who truly chased his dream and went all in on skating.

Marco actually moved across the country (from Staten Island) with nothing but the clothes on his back and his photo gear, and eventually ended up shooting covers, hanging with the Baker squad, and making a living within the industry.

Turns out, like some of your other favorite skaters, Marco is also a DJ on the side, playing gigs at places like Cha Cha Lounge where he does monthly vinyl sets. He’s good at curating a vibe and making you feel like you’re in a crusty cantina where trouble seems just around the corner, in that classic outlaw way.
