If there were some kind of official ranking of cities that have been most meaningful for skateboarding culture, Philadelphia would have to be real high on the list.
Even with LOVE park gone and the tiles at Muni looking like they’ve been hit by a meteor, the city is still producing top tier talent. Case in point: Jahmir Brown.
Jahmir has been a topic of discussion over the last few months, dropping parts for DC and Venture, he was an integral voice in our piece about Black skateboarders’ experiences, and he’s somehow making skating with headphones look kind of sick.
Download Jahmir’s mix here while you can, or just be one of the slackers that emails us years later trying to get a copy of it once the link is long gone.
More Mixes? Check out: Natas Kaupus, Bad Brains, Heath Kirchart, Bill Strobeck, Blondey McCoy, Louie Lopez, Nora Vasconcellos, Alltimers, Rodrigo TX, Stefan Janoski, Franky Villani, Pass~Port, The 69 Mix, Beagle, LurkNYC, Bam Margera, Mike Arnold, Jason Sallilas, or Kevin Rodrigues.

I tend to leave zero tracks in the web, but need to do an exception here: Big, big thank you dudes for having this mix series! It made me grooving for the past years, got me new influences in music and culture and certainly kept me alive during this whatever situation around the globe.
Keep on rippin’ and stay sound!
